{"id":125,"date":"2015-09-18T09:16:10","date_gmt":"2015-09-18T08:16:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pierre-vincent.com\/memosap\/?p=125"},"modified":"2015-09-18T09:16:10","modified_gmt":"2015-09-18T08:16:10","slug":"cif-delta-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.pierre-vincent.com\/memosap\/2015\/09\/18\/cif-delta-report\/","title":{"rendered":"CIF Delta report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\/SAPAPO\/CCR<\/p>\n<p>(source :\u00a0http:\/\/scn.sap.com\/docs\/DOC-43984)<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">RECONCILIATION <span lang=\"EN\">Report<\/span><\/p>\n<p>RECONCILIATION <span lang=\"EN\">report is used to compare APO transaction data with ECC transaction data through active integration model.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN\">Perquisites:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">Check whether Integration model for the transaction data like Planned order , production order, Stock and etc. for the material are active or not<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">Check for saved queues in ECC for any queues stuck in ECC. (SMQ2 &amp; SMQ3)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">Check for saved queues in APO for any queues stuck in APO. (SMQ2 &amp; SMQ3)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">Now you can analyze the error in RECONCILIATION for getting the inconsistencies.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN\">Most Common Root Cause<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"EN\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">1. <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">When &lsquo;someone&rsquo; <strong>deletes<\/strong> blocked queues, rather than first resolving the root cause and then re-processing the queues.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">2. <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">Inappropriate or missing master data<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">When the connectivity between ECC and SCM fails.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN\">Some More Important point<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"EN\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\">In RECONCILIATION report it may be confused by seeing there some internal number issue and external number related issue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\">Internal number = created in SCM, but not yet published to ECC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\">External number = created in ECC, and published to SCM<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\">Orders that are created within SCM (such as planned orders) initially are created with an internal order number, using an SCM number range.\u00a0 If these orders are published to ECC, the order is then <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">duplicated<\/span> <span lang=\"EN\">in ECC.\u00a0 This new ECC order contains an order number generated by ECC, using an ECC number range. Once this order is bounced back to SCM, the original SCM order (with the internal number) is replaced by the new order that was created in ECC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN\">Change Pointers in RECONCILIATION:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">1. <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">Orders once deleted in APO will have change pointer-&gt; R<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">2. <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">Orders created in APO which has to flow to R3 will be having change pointers-&gt; <\/span><strong><span lang=\"EN\">C<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">3. <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">Orders newly created in APO which has to flow to R3 will be having change pointers-&gt; <\/span><strong><span lang=\"EN\">N<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN\">Icons in RECONCILIATION Screen<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">Push to APO<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">Push to R\/3<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">Delete in APO<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">Delete in R\/3<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">Change pointer with symbol X<\/span><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN\">Types of RECONCILIATION <\/span><\/strong><strong>Inconsistencies<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Not in integration model<\/li>\n<li>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Missing in R\/3 without external Key<\/li>\n<li>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Not in R\/3 with external key<\/li>\n<li>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Not in APO<\/li>\n<li>5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Difference in content<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Not in Integration Model<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>C<\/strong><strong>ause- &gt;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">1. <\/span>Selection condition of data not activate in integration model<\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">2. <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">Check for Active model exists or not for plant, material, PPM\/PDS, Work center (CFM5)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">3. <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">Check active integration model exists for planned orders\/ production orders, purchase orders\/purchase requisitions etc<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">4. <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">Try creating a manual orders in RRP3 transaction and check orders is getting populated.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN\">Action:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">1. <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">Ask the Business user why they need forecast for those SKU as they are added in exclusion list.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">2. <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">If it is really needed for business, then add the object to the active IM.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong><span lang=\"EN\">Missing in R\/3 Without External Key<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN\">Cause:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">1. If <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">Change pointers exist that means after Manual heuristic\u00a0 run in APO, user have forgotten\u00a0 to send the change pointers to R\/3.( after heuristic C\/5 has not done)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">2. If change pointers not exist then there may be <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">Queue stuck in R\/3 inbound related to the transaction data (Check for Purchase \/MRP views of SKU\/ Accounting views) .<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN\">Action<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"EN\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">1. <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">Select orders with change pointer C, select change pointer icon X and do the iteration. This will publish the orders in R3 and will return back to APO<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">IF no change pointers nit exist then may be queue stuck, correct master data&#8230;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\"><strong>Missing in R\/3 with External Key<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN\">Reason-<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"EN\">&gt;<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">1. <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">The deletion indicator have not moved to APO<\/span><\/li>\n<li>2. Check whether the planned orders exist in R\/3? They may have been manually deleted or goods movement process has already been done respect to the planned order.<\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">3. <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">Queue stuck in APO inbound related to the transaction data<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Action-&gt;<\/strong> Press the deletion indicator to delete in APO<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\"><strong>Missing in APO :<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN\">Root Cause:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">1. <\/span><span lang=\"EN\">Planned has been deleted after the heuristic run but stuck in the queue<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Schedule line does not exist in APO. Ex:\u00a0 the PR has been deleted and not passed to R\/3 but at the mean time the system created another PR for the demand on the SKU.This error can occurred if PO stuck up in the inbound queue to R\/3 system &amp; RECONCILIATION process is not followed properly for sending PO to R\/3<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN\">Action:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span lang=\"EN\">1. If planning has been done from APO side , then delete the orders from ECC. Don&rsquo;t send the orders to APO.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span lang=\"EN\"><strong>Difference in Content<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>1. APO requirements quantity\u00a0 different to ECC req. quantity .<\/h3>\n<p>2.
